Manager, Reporting & Campaign Management

HLB is embarking on a comprehensive multi-year regional BIG DATA and Analytics transformational journey encompassing products, channels and services across the different markets. We are looking for people with previous decision science and credit analytics experience to lead different initiatives focused on improving decision management, risk analytics, and revenue enhancement across various consumer banking products

Functional (job responsibilities)

  • To lead a Reporting & Campaign Management team to produce campaigns and reports for internal stakeholders from Consumer and Business banking products and segments
  • Campaign responsibilities will include the creation and upload of acquisition, cross-selling and retention projects on batch or real-time basis; and tracking of results
  • Reporting responsibilities will include the timely production of standard reports from data extraction to publishing
  • To ensure that the creation of these data products is within the accepted service level agreements of accuracy and turnaround times
  • To ensure that the production is within the compliance parameters set in the department's SOP
  • To maintain, review and improve upon the data marts and extraction scripts to create production efficiencies and eliminate redundancies
  • To work closely with their peers in the department on analytic, campaign and reporting requirements to meet the Bank's strategic and tactical KPIs.
Managerial (team/group responsibilities)
  • Lead a small team consisting of junior analysts to generate regular and ad-hoc reports and campaigns
  • Train and coach the team to reach optimum efficiency in terms of productivity, accuracy and timeliness
  • Implement process improvements for productivity and timeliness
Organizational (organizational responsibilities)
  • Support the Unit Head's responsibility as the Key controller of the Bank's Customer Contact Policy to safeguard the private information of customers
  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Actuarial studies, Banking/Finance/Economics, Business, Marketing, Mathematics/Statistics or related disciplines
  • Proficient in SAS Programming, Enterprise Guide, SQL and MS Excel, Data warehouse and enterprise BI solutions such as Tableau
  • Strong coding and analytical skills, highly numerate and proactive
  • Good interpersonal and communication skil l
  • At least 6 years of relevant working experience
  • Exposure to project management and operation set-up
  • Have performed reporting function in the capacity of creator / designer and/or execution
  • Marketing or Sales Campaign design, creation and reporting
  • Exposure to data warehouse infrastructure, data modeling or real time campaign platforms such as TIBCO or ESP will be an added advantage
Special Skills
  • Programming language skills in SQL, Python and/or R
  • Reporting and Info Management platforms such as Tableau, Sharepoint, SAS Web Reporting Studio and/or SAS Visual Analytics
