We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of Regional Sales Manager, Direct Sales (Central Region).

Principal Responsibilities

  • Works with Head of Mobile Sales and formulates a direct sales strategy to increase sales and cross sales of RBWM Asset Based products (Secured and Unsecured category) .
  • Responsible for the regional sales targets for RCT Mobile Sales channel .
  • Responsible for ensuring maximum co-operation with branches and that the overall cross sale objectives are met .
  • Develop appropriate training plans to introduce other key RBWM products and selling skills for the staff reporting to job holder .
  • To manage the team and ensure that the quality of Mobile Sales staff in the Central region team is kept high .
  • To ensure that the region is compliant with Banks compliances requirement.

  • A university degree is preferred for this role as it involves analytical capacity and quick and measured responses on a daily basis. For those without tertiary degree, prior experience in credit card sales management environment in a financial institution of up to 5 years will be preferred and suitable. This is to ensure the candidate is well verse with the various risk factors and system dependency of the card business and thus be able to make suitable decisions
  • In terms of product knowledge, ability to appreciate the full suite of mortgage, card products sold by the bank is necessary and also the knowledge of all the various cross sales product base such as Balance Transfer, APF-i, credit insurance such as is beneficial
  • English is the core medium of communication needed but ability to converse in Mandarin and Bahasa, is an advantage
  • Computer skills in Excel, Power point and word is advantageous and beneficial for this role .
  • Proven track records in managing Direct/ Mobile sales
  • Strong computer skills in Excel, Power point and word is advantageous and beneficial for this role
  • Must be kept abreast with current product/market knowledge
  • Excellent customer service skills and Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proven managerial experience would be required
