Relationship Manager, Corporate Banking
  1. Focus on relationship building and networking with existing and prospective clients by:
    1. understanding their existing & future funding / financial needs and providing insights of the Bank's products & services;
    2. working to provide accurate information of the Bank's products & services to clients and drive the Bank's initiatives; and
    3. consistently improving the level of service to clients
  2. Marketing of the corporate loans and GWB products & services (including deposits, treasury and cash management related products) to clients and evaluating the credit quality of the Bank's Corporate Loan portfolio in various industries and client base
  3. Preparation of credit proposals and related analytical support for submission to the relevant approving authorities & ensure speedy turnaround. This includes the following:
    1. identifying pertinent credit-related issues and work out viable financing solution for clients;
    2. conducting pre-sanction visits & interview loan applicants; and
    3. handling post-approval work process
  4. To ensure that all transactions comply with applicable regulatory framework/guidelines and the Group's policies and procedures
  5. Work closely with product partners to introduce and proactively cross-selling financial products within the GWB division including FX, derivatives, bonds, cash management & trade finance products
  6. Monitor loan/income growth and quality of loans portfolio to meet annual budget targets
  7. Conduct post sanction visits to ensure that the loans granted are properly utilized.
  8. Monitor loan repayment activities and take steps to collect overdue loans
  9. Monitor and manage loan portfolio to ensure any deterioration in the asset quality is properly escalated to the relevant authority


Qualifications
  1. Minimum 7 years experience in corporate and investment banking and other related fields
  2. Bachelor's Degree in the relevant discipline (Accounting /Finance /Business /Economics / Banking) and possess Professional Certified Credit ("PCC") or its equivalent
  3. Professional qualifications such as Chartered Banker and Chartered Accountant will be an added advantage
  4. Possess strong accounting/financial analytical and credit evaluation skills, financial modeling and business writing /presentation skills and good understanding of the corporate banking & GWB products suite offered
  5. Results-oriented individuals, resourceful and strong business connections in identifying & developing business opportunities
