Senior Executive, LaunchPad Digital Marketing

Job Summary
HLB is focusing on innovating the bank through external innovation initiatives. The bank will source to bring in innovation into the bank by executing a mentorship program to attract and collaborate start-ups/fintechs that can fulfill the digital needs/agenda of HLB. This role aims to bring HLB's startup/fintech agenda to greater awareness among our target audiences via multiple channels and marketing initiatives.

You are the right hand person to the marketing manager to brainstorm, coordinate and execute the marketing & communication strategies. Your responsibilities include determining the best channels and key messages to elevate our brand within the startup/fintech ecosystem. This includes obtaining necessary approvals, tracking of marketing effectiveness and regular performance reporting and thinking of ways to continuously improve our brand awareness. Your day to day will include content creation, designing pitch decks, social media, PR, partnership marketing, SEO and SEM, events, creation of marketing collateral (traditional and digital), and more!

Key Responsibilities Functional

  • Contribute creatively to develop and execute digital marketing & communication strategies to promote initiatives by the department, including goals, budget and tactics.
  • Experience in developing content for digital communications channels, including websites, intranets, email campaigns, and social media.
  • Experience in digital marketing tools - utilizing Google AdWords and analytic platforms, website creation and management.
  • Design skills - Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator - a plus
  • Experience in execution of social media programmes, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Youtube, and more.
  • Manage all stakeholders involved in producing and executing digital marketing activities, including external agencies and internal cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain communications schedule of marketing initiatives targeted at internal and external audiences and ensure that projects are completed in timely manner and within budget.
  • Ensure compliance and consistency of marketing materials against Hong Leong Bank's overall image and brand.
  • Continually measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (KPIs and ROIs)
  • Work together with the team in execution of programme to enable the success of the team
  • Responsible to highlight any risks and dependencies to the team

  • Understand the impact of the task to HLB and ensure alignment of initiative to HLB vision and goals
  • Ensure initiatives are executed in the best intentions for HLB

Jobholder Requirements
  • Degree in business administration/marketing/mass communication

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in digital marketing
  • Experience in events management is an added advantage

  • A positive outlook, desire to learn and meet new people, lots of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Demonstrated interest in technology, startups, entrepreneurship, venture capital, etc.
  • Able to craft clear, concise and effective messages
  • Aware of current and evolving digital platforms
  • Well versed with ads tools (Google Adwords, Analytics, Adsense, Facebook Ads, Twitter Ads)
  • Exceptional writing skills (English)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge and experience in design skills (Canva/Photoshop/Adobe Illustrator) is an added advantage
  • Strong knowledge in Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate and work well both independently and across stakeholder groups
  • Adaptable to dynamic, startup-like working environment
