The Role Responsibilities
A Project manager is required within the Technology Division. This hand-on role will offer the candidate an excellent opportunity to further develop their career in a financial institution across all asset classes in Standard Chartered.

The role is responsible for end-to-end delivery of infrastructure remediation projects including ensuring requirements are understood, documented and delivered against budget and timelines. This also includes stakeholder management and status reporting.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Project Management
• Manage investment projects
• Manage key high profile BAU funded projects
• Engage and drive stakeholders in Infrastructure team and systems owners to deliver to the project plan, on time and to budget
• Play a role in clarifying, updating, and improving the processes impacted by the technology changes that are part of your project
• Identify, mitigate and communicate key assumptions, issues, risks and dependencies to the project & relevant control and governance committees
• Review existing processes/activities to make them more efficient or optimal
• Document any identified required changes, and communicate them to the relevant parties
• Facilitate the negotiation of requirements amongst multiple stakeholders
• Ensure internal processes, standards and risk compliance (including security, regulatory and audit requirements) are met

Management Information
• Create standardized monthly service packs
• Monthly and adhoc data analysis and reporting
• Support for preparation of various strategy packs for management
• Plan & organise regular communication events like Town hall, Extended Mancom meetings, Workshops

Workforce Management
• Conceptualise and execute target operating model and location strategies
• Ensure correct job families are in place for people
• Manage headcount to end of year target
• Manage headcount requests (new, replacement) for Project/BAU and support MT

Finance
• Working with Finance and service teams to track budget
• Assist teams where required for service based pricing, budget related topics
• Assist with travel governance process/approval
• Cost Centre management

Organisational Hygiene
• Ensure compliance with organisational hygiene, design and central governance
• Conduct internal Governance Forum to demonstrate robust management control approach & awareness
• PR & Communications
• Conceptualise and track KPIs for the team

Vendor Management
• Manage vendor schedule (contract dates, cost)
• Ensure renewals are executed in a timely manner

People, Training, Development
• Ensure all colleagues have objectives set for 2019
• Work with domain heads on training plans



Our Ideal Candidate
SKILLS
· Strong project management experience with the ability to work on multiple project at once
· Self-starter, ability to think clearly and problem solve and work under pressure
· Excellent interpersonal skills which lend themselves to team-oriented approach and able to work effectively as part of a team and as an individual
· Effective verbal and written communication abilities, across all levels of the organisation
· Demonstrate analytical thinking & data analysis
· Strong MS Excel, Microsoft Office/ Project skills
· Fluent in written & verbal English
· PMP certified
· ITIL certified

Preferred experience
· IT infrastructure Program and/or project management experience
· Infrastructure operations experience
· Experience in working in a global and/or regional financial institute
