Your role

Would you like to gain more experience in the investment fund industry? Do you have an audit and risk mindset? We're looking for a Fund Oversight Specialist with VBA in Poland to:

• Support the ManCo teams in Tax oversight activities for various fund types.
• Conduct routine independent reviews of fund administration and tax provider processes.
• Assess and mitigate operational risks associated with tax activities.
• Provide administrative support for tax-related processes.
• Maintain and continuously improve procedures.
• Support regulatory change management activities.

Your team

You will be working in the ManCo Delivery Team in UBS Asset Management (Europe) S.A. Branch in Poland. The Team is responsible for delivering investment fund-related services to the European Management Companies located in Luxembourg and Switzerland. You will report directly to a local Team Lead and work closely with your colleagues, other teams within UBS and different external stakeholders.

Your expertise

• 3+ years of relevant industry experience (tax, fund accounting, audit).
• A relevant academic background, such as a degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including VBA.
• Strong Tax background from any European jurisdiction (e.g. Lux, CH, Lux), combined with a very good understanding of double tax treaties and international tax principles.
• Ability to resolve and respond to complex queries in a timely manner with a careful and exact approach to allocated tasks.
• Keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues.
• Collaborative personality, with the ability to complete tasks independently.
• Very good written and spoken English (knowledge of German or French will be an asset).
• You're curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment - validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use.
