Corporate Treasury Division
We're a team of specialists charged with managing the firm's funding, liquidity, capital and relationships with creditors and regulators. Corporate Treasury manages the firm's financial resources and minimizes interest expense through liability planning, asset liability management, and liquidity portfolio yield enhancement. The division is ideal for collaborative individuals who have strong quantitative analysis skills and risk management capabilities since Treasury actively manages the firm's financial resources which are constantly changing due to business activity, markets, risk appetite, regulations and other factors.
What we do
Corporate Treasury plays a central role in the firm's overall strategy with responsibility for providing appropriate funding to support all firmwide activity while maximizing net interest income. The division allocates financial resources, raises funding and capital to support firm activity, and dynamically manages the firm's asset liability risk and liquidity portfolio. Corporate Treasury actively engages in public markets and with businesses across the firm, investors, ratings agencies and regulators. The division is ideal for collaborative individuals with strong quantitative analysis skills, interest in portfolio management and a risk management mind set.
How we are organized
Corporate Treasury is responsible for financial resource management and asset liability management to facilitate all firm activity at the lowest cost possible. Functional teams within Corporate Treasury focus on resource allocation, funding planning and origination, asset liability management, trading execution, liquidity projections, liquidity policies and platforms, regulatory engagement, and LIBOR transition. The division is run by the Global Treasurer and works closely with the CFO, each of the firm's businesses, Controllers, Operations, and Investor Relations among other groups at the firm.

Working in the Corporate Treasury division, you will be have exposure to all aspects of the firm, including the Global Markets division and banking initiatives, to new business activities, and to critical strategic programs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are needed in order to work successfully with diverse internal and external stakeholders including businesses, external creditors and regulators.
About the Role:
The Corporate Treasury ("CT") Budget, Strategy and Communications team is seeking an Analyst/ Associate in London/ Warsaw. The team partners with Corporate Treasury leadership to identify and assess strategic opportunities, and drive initiatives across the division. The ideal candidate should have an interest in pursuing a career focused on strategy and communications, process and workflow improvements, people development and budget management. The candidate should be interested in solving complex business problems as well as shaping and executing forward strategy.

Responsibilities may include:
  • Build and manage relationships with Corporate Treasury leaders to develop and execute divisional strategy
  • Create and maintain Board and committee materials
  • Coordinate across regional regulatory requirements, including LIBOR
  • Manage Townhall agenda, materials and logistics (including coordination with multiple stakeholders)
  • Develop senior management presentations and ad hoc business requests
  • Assist in regional Treasurer matters as needed, including briefing material, talking points, material preparation
  • Coordinate people and budget projections for the department including headcount, global mobility, travel and other market development costs
  • Partnering with Human Capital Management to enhance recruitment best practices and training processes
  • Provide support to senior stakeholders in all matters relating to regional office management
Basic qualifications:
  • Resourceful, self-starter, with strong analytical, critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
  • Able to take initiative on unstructured assignments
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Strong analytical skills and aptitude with numbers - data analytics and database query skills preferred
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Project management experience a plus
  • Self-motivated team player with the ability to adapt in a dynamic and changing organization
  • Commercial focus, ready to take ownership and accountability, organizational/prioritization skills, proactive, ability to multitask
