Key Responsibilities
• Own end-to-end delivery of strategic Digital Assets initiatives.
• Lead multiple agile engineering teams and project managers.
• Drive planning, execution, dependency management and milestone delivery.
• Manage strategic technology partners and system integrators.
• Translate architecture principles into executable delivery plans.
• Work closely with Enterprise Architecture, Security, Operations and Product.
• Ensure engineering quality, testing, release readiness and operational resilience.
• Manage delivery risks, issues and escalations.
• Develop and coach engineering managers and technical leads.
• Support recruitment, performance management and capability development.
• Promote engineering excellence, DevSecOps and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to technology decisions by providing practical delivery experience and challenging implementation choices.

Required Experience
• 10+ years leading technology delivery in Financial Services, Capital Markets, Payments or FinTech.
• Experience delivering large-scale distributed platforms or cloud-native systems.
• Experience managing programmes involving multiple vendors and internal engineering teams.
• Experience leading teams of 10-30+ engineers through engineering managers.
• Good understanding of blockchain, DLT or tokenised asset platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Agile delivery, DevSecOps and modern software engineering.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Experience
• Experience with Digital Assets, tokenisation or post-trade infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Hyperledger Besu, Ethereum/EVM, Kaleido, FireFly or similar technologies.
• Exposure to custody, wallets, CBDC, interoperability or digital cash initiatives.
• Experience working within highly regulated financial market infrastructures.

We are looking for an execution-oriented technology leader who combines strong delivery discipline, people leadership and sufficient blockchain knowledge to successfully deliver Euroclear's next generation Digital Assets Platform.

• a pure people manager without strong DLT technical depth

We are looking for a hands-on architecture-minded technology leader who can bring real expertise in blockchain and digital asset delivery.
