Treasury CIO - Global Operations Lead - Vice President

T/CIO Global Operations is part of the Treasury/Chief Investment Office (T/CIO) which is responsible for firm wide asset and liability management including:

  • Aggregating and managing the firm's structural interest rate risk, primarily through a global investment portfolio.
  • Managing the firm's funding and liabilities, including both long term debt and short term cash deployment.
  • Aggregating, managing and reporting the firm's liquidity risk.
  • Aggregating and managing the firm's structural foreign exchange.
  • Managing the end to end risk weighted assets and capital process.
This leadership role will oversee operations activities supporting these T/CIO activities including the aggregation of firm wide data, the production of risk information and scenario analysis, and the accurate and timely processing of all transactions and portfolio lifecycle events managed by T/CIO. Individual will be required to develop and integrate JPMorgan and local cultures to successfully attract and retain talent. Strong relationship management and communication skills are key to success given multiple senior stakeholders from the Treasury, Finance and Risk organization and across all Lines of Business (LOB).

Responsibilities include:
  • Build and Lead a team of 60+ professionals responsible for the execution of accurate and timely processing of all TCIO activity, data aggregation, reporting and analytics
  • Build a strong transparent culture for staff based on meritocracy; advance the inclusive leadership agenda through diversity, training, performance management, networking, job mobility and mentoring
  • Engage, motivate and influence direct reports, teams and peers, and enhance overall employee engagement and retention, working in partnership with HR and training teams
  • Monitor key Human Resource issues around hiring, engagement, training, attrition, and overtime that may impact the business
  • Manage the performance management cycle - objective setting, development and career planning, performance appraisal and reward and recognition for the team
  • Build strong risk awareness and controls by working closely with Business Partners and Risk Control Managers in driving/implementing effective and sustainable control program to pro-actively manage risks to the business
  • Develop consistent operational and locational key performance and risk indicators.
  • Representing T/CIO, in partnership with Corporate Finance Leadership to be a culture carrier and leadership role for all campus wide initiatives.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor degree required (Engineering, Finance or Business degree preferable)
