Main Function:
The Asia Pacific (AP) CIS Business planning and analysis Lead is responsible for regional financial management and related operational support across AP Core infrastructure services (CIS). AP Core Infrastructure Services (CIS) which is part of a global technology organization that provides technology infrastructure services across multiple business lines in Citibank. The role is part of AP CTI Business Management team and would be involved in managing a $400MM portfolio for Asia CIS. This role would report to the Head of AP CTI Business management and also matrix report into Head of AP CIS, with daily operations activities related to financials, approvals and workforce. The role would also be responsible in managing, tracking and financial reporting of various CIS strategic initiatives such as DC modernization which would be driven by AP Head of CIS
Main Duties:
The AP CIS BP&A Lead provides financial management and operational support to all APAC CIS teams in the areas of (not exhaustive):
  • Overall financial oversight of AP CIS Team budget
  • Build a robust expense & investment plan during annual financial planning / budgeting cycle, with clear and documented assumptions aligned with business strategy
  • Coordinate with BP&A and various CIS functional teams to validate third party expenses booked, and intercompany charges received, and monitor closure of items requiring corrective actions
  • Drive initiatives to increase transparency of cost drivers and ensure accurate allocation and forecasts
  • Control and review monthly submission of investment spends and BAU accruals with full supporting documentation to Controllers group, and monthly forecast to FP&A group
  • Maintain robust CIS financial governance framework for BAU expense and investments and spearhead stranded cost optimization & process improvement efforts
  • Weekly review of the new project approval process (IEP) & reporting of actual investment spend status
  • Work, liaise and coordinate with the Global CTI Investment Management Team, Project Managers, Regional Domains Heads and Team Coordinators, and also operational partners like Finance on CIS financials
  • Work with CTI BP&A and CIS functional team managers / representatives to ensure expenses in Plan and Forecast are updated accurately and completely in the internal system, including supporting documents such as PO, invoices and the like
  • Manage ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests from APAC CIS Management, and lead efforts in the analysis and generation of financial reports
  • Facilitate on identification, follow through with financial tracking and execution of CIS Cost Efficiency Programs
  • Perform people management and leadership responsibilities such as mentoring team members, strengthening team capability by supporting CTI APAC Business Management engagement and development programs 


Qualifications

Skills:
  • Minimum 10+ years of work experience in financial analysis in Financial Services / Technology / Consulting
  • Tertiary degree, preferably in Finance / Business related disciplines
  • Analytical, flexible, team and customer oriented, have good interpersonal and follow up skills with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Strong skills in financial planning and analytical presentations with very strong influencing and partnering skills
  • Possess strong prioritization skills to manage multiple ongoing projects / tasks
  • Highly motivated, strong performer with a proven ability to interact and work effectively with all levels of staff, including Senior Managers, and provide support to CTI CIS teams located at remote sites
  • Operational experience at a regional level in a complex / matrix organization
  • Good verbal and written communication skills with ability to handle senior management communication and ensure that the right messages reach to the right groups at the right level
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • A general understanding of the IT environment and related technology applications
