We Offer
APAC BPS Risk & Control supports the APAC BPS management in identifying, mitigating and managing risks. The role involves performance of both key control tasks as well as analysis to identify and mitigate risks across the functions within BPS. We act as a trusted advisor on topics relating to risk, control and regulatory matters impacting BPS functions, to BPS management as well as other partners across the Division and Bank.

Key deliverables can be illustrated by, but are not limited to:

Risk and Control Governance:
Report monthly Risk and Control Governance metrics relevant to BPS providing transparency on the current control environment, incidents and potential areas of risks that require mitigation to relevant BPS, Divisional or Country management Governance forums.

Risk Management:
Partner with Business control teams and 2LoD to complete annual RCSA and related ERCF risk management initiatives for BPS. Partner with 2LoD on thematic risk reviews and regulatory inspections to represent BPS functions.
Perform risk reviews across the BPS functions relating to outsourcing, incoming processes or thematic/ front to back business reviews as required.

Control Monitoring:
Establish a controls monitoring function in location across multiple key controls, perform testing and reviews where necessary to ensure risks within key control processes are identified, escalated and remediated to enforce an adequate control environment.

Controls Support:
Establish a controls support capability in location to perform BAU control tasks relating to Funds Transfer-related processes across BPS, and controls-related maintenance of the EUCs in BPS.


You Offer

  • 5+ years' experience in Operations &/or Audit, Operational Risk Management and other risk or management (control) functions in either Private, Commercial or Investment Banking. In addition the candidate will be able to demonstrate:
  • Intermediate Powerpoint, Word & Excel skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Good Presentation skills
  • The ability to understand and document complex processes, procedures and controls.
  • The ability to identify and articulate Operational risks within complex processes.
  • A degree in Business, Finance or Accounting is preferred.
