Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Equity desks by managing the execution of orders and trade flow in a logical risk controlled manner whilst always providing "best execution"
- Supporting Investment Managers by providing them with timely updates on market colour, activity, risk and trading ideas
- Build and maintain excellent internal relationships with the global Investment Execution team, internal stakeholders and external counterparties
- Build, update and maintain accurate dealing records for internal checks and external regulatory requirements as well as acting as a key contact for any administration queries in relation to trading activity and liaising with back office operations accordingly
- Adhoc project work as required
Prerequisites for role:
- 3-5 years APAC equity trading experience with some exposure to Equity Derivatives
- Excellent IT skills and advanced Microsoft Office, VBA and macros would be highly desirable
- CMFAS qualifications although not a pre-requisite would be highly regarded as will be needed for this role
- The ability to excel in a highly pressured environment, a high level of attention to detail and and excellent communication skills
