AVP, Assistant Project Lead, AML (6 Months Contract)

Group Legal and Compliance (AML) is currently developing a Group wide Know Your Customer application comprising of Customer Due Diligence, Transaction and Name Screening for OCBC, OSPL, BOS, OCBC Wing Hang and 12 Overseas Branches.

Provide support to Project Lead in the overall management of Quality, Schedule, Risks, Scope, Costs and Resources of the work stream. These duties include assisting Project Lead in the following aspects:
  • Planning of activities, monitor progress and escalate issues to Lead
  • Preparation of status reporting to senior management
  • Point of contact for all departments, overseas branches and subsidiaries
  • Participate in requirements workshops with vendors, users and IT
  • Develop users requirement and functional specifications
  • Formulate data conversion plans to close data gaps if any. Track to completion.
  • Work with IT Test Center and develop Test Plans, Test Cases and ensure that functional specification is covered
  • Work with Users to prepare Test Data
  • Gather defects from all entities, review, remove duplicates and prioritise defects with Lead
  • Monitors and tracks defects closure with IT
  • Prepare training material and manage all training logistics
  • Ensure that all items in deployment checklists are completed
  • Prepare for Pre-live tests, DR test and actual cutover, set up of command center
  • Support command center, provide post cutover support
  • Assist Lead in the preparation of all documentations


Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
  • 2-4 years Project Management experience;
  • 1-2 years AML experience in a Financial Institution;
  • Ability to communicate at all levels with clarity and precision (verbal & written). Strong analytical and writing skills;
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint, MS project will be an added advantage.
  • Meticulous with a keen eye for detail;
  • Able to work independently and as a team player within tight schedule and pressure
