What you'll do

  • Develop data-driven actionable financial insights to support MIS Financial analysis relating to the Bank's Profitability measures
  • Support, customize and enhance reporting initiatives in the area of Profitability Reporting and Analytics
  • Design of management reporting dashboards using Qlikview
  • Design and support reporting requirements using Hyperion
  • Support the day to day operations of the Bank's Financial Data Mart (FDM)
  • Perform quality assurance checks, reconciliation to the general ledger, manual adjustments to instrument level data which are sourced from the Bank's Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) to ensure good quality data are delivered to business units for their profitability reporting and analysis
  • Track and Monitor outstanding issues raised to IT are resolved promptly
  • Assess impact and lead/participate in UAT for new products/systems from the source systems & EDW into the FDM datamart

Qualifications
What you will bring

  • A good university degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
  • Experience with MIS Performance Management application
  • Good understanding of banking product knowledge (for P&L, Balance Sheet analysis)
  • Exposure to analytical software tools of leading analytical software tools, leading database environments (Oracle, DB2, Teradata, SQL); reporting tools (Qlikview, Hyperion) is preferred
  • Exposure to financial services database, analytical financial or profitability management functions
  • Ability to analyse, identify, visualize and describe key trends within large datasets
  • Ability to work with systems and data
  • Ability to pay keen attention to details especially with numbers
