AVP, OSPL - Global Markets & Connectivity
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Function as a key point of contact for Vendors and Exchanges relating to Market Data Administration
- Coordinate between OCBC entities on Vendors/Exchanges matters and manage vendor relationships
- Drive market data related promotions, cost savings and projects to streamline processes
- Ensure timely payment to Vendors and Exchanges
- Handle information requested by Foreign Brokers, Exchanges, Auditors and other Regulatory bodies
- Participate in UAT testing for fixes and projects relating to Market Data and OSPL's trading systems
- Manage incoming enquiries to the department and system issues reported
- Engage various stakeholders such as IT, Vendors and Trading Representatives for timely resolution of issues
- Organize vendor and system related training sessions
- Assist to perform Outsourcing Review of Outsourced Vendor on an annual basis
- Assist the Head of Department to compute monthly statistics for management reporting
- Support in the BAU activities of the department

Qualifications Requirements :
· Degree holder or above, preferably with a major in Business, Finance IT or Computer Science
· An independent worker with good analytical skills and ability to resolve issues
· Meticulous and multi-tasker, with the ability to cope with changes and diversity in a fast-paced environment
· A good team player with initiative, drive, good stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
· Good communication skills both verbally and in writing, and able to articulate thought processes clearly
· Proficient in MS Office applications. Basic knowledge of VBA and/or SQL Query would be an advantage
· Some knowledge of the securities business would be preferred
