AVP, OSPL - Global Markets & Connectivity
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure stability and minimize downtime of OSPL's trading systems, a critical component of OSPL's business
  • Manage the trading connectivity between OSPL, counterparty brokers and clients for continuous improvement and optimization
  • Manage incoming enquiries and provide resolution for system issues reported in a timely manner
  • Engage various stakeholders including IT, Vendors and Trading Representatives for system related matters and new implementations
  • Be familiar with OSPL trading systems and effectively communicate User Requirements to IT and Vendors
  • Monitor project timelines and milestones in accordance with the project goals and deliverables
  • Maintenance of key business IT procedures and perform UAT for all fixes and projects relating to OSPL's trading systems
  • Perform Outsourcing Review of Outsourced Vendor on an annual basis
  • Liaison for both internal and external IT audits, and handle system information requested by regulators
  • Engage Group Legal and Compliance for review of new contracts and services discussions with Vendors
  • Handle commercial arrangements and monthly payments to vendors
  • Prepare system related statistics for management reporting or meetings
  • Support in other BAU activities of the department as and when required

Reporting to:
Head of Digital Business

  • Excellent analytical skills with an ability to resolve issues independently
  • Strong project management skills to drive business initiatives / projects for foreign markets trading
  • A good team player with initiative, drive, and good stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
  • FIX knowledge for equity trading system such as FIS, Fidessa, Itiviti will be highly regarded
  • Familiarity with the regulatory requirements in the same space is preferred
  • Preferably with at least 5 years of experience in a similar industry
  • A degree holder in Business, Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent
  • Proficiency in computer skills and other software applications (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Excel) would be an added advantage but not mandatory
