Should have minimum of 3 – 10 years of experience in AWS development
Participate in on-call rotation with different time zone when required. E.g. Potential night-call due to time zone different.
Monitor live production systems health
First-aid reaction to system and report on any infrastructure failures
Independently deal with and investigate/troubleshoot infrastructure issues on live production systems (Infra as in system like SFMC, Janrain, AWS applications, etc.)
Proficient with Unix shell scripting
Proactive reporting on any issues and/ or provide inputs and work with other team/ vendors for resolutions (E.g. To check/ analyse and report on the issue such as connectivity/ code, if server/app/system not available/down)
Incident Management - Log tickets to client ticket system and/ or other vendor system or liaise with vendor to investigate/perform analysis on the issue, ticket follow up for closure)
Develop internal automation - monitoring, setup, statistics with client guidance
Setup automatic systems to control infrastructure with client guidance
Source code debugging and Source code management
Provide support to developers with deployment and integration. This covers two areas:
Perform root cause analysis and propose resolution.
Implement preventive action for potential / identified risk.
Understand the whole technology stack at all levels : from network and application code to technology
Have healthy detestation for complex shell scripts
Provide operational support and coordination with other vendors
