Application Support Engineer

Skill-set required
* 10 + years strong Production Support experience
* Strong knowledge of UNIX/Windows server; middleware technologies- Tomcat, WebLogic, Apache, etc.
* Scripting skills -Shellscprit, python etc.
* Extensive experience insupporting and troubleshooting J2EE web applications and databases/knowledge onSQL
* Domain Knowledge of Identity and Access Management Processes and tools
* Exposure to monitoringtools AppDynamics; Splunk; AutoSys
* Prior DevOps experiencepreferred
* Troubleshooting skillswith the ability to correlate various logs files, events, etc. to get to rootcause of issues quickly and correctly.
* Knowledge of the overall business operating models and underlying technicalarchitecture.
* Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly. Eagerness to learn newthings.
* Flexible with regard to working shifts APAC and EMEA shifts; On-Call &weekends; Overtime
* Bachelors' degree in Computer Science or related field of study or equivalentrelevant experience.
* Ability towork in a fast paced environment and multitask
* Ableto demonstrate team leadership skills with an proven ability to communicateeffectively with clients, vendors, management and project staff at all level * Abilityto listen, analyze, influence, negotiate and use judgment to solve complexissues in order to accomplish project goal
