Asia - Transition Management

  • Work with the Head of Transition Management to develop Asian TM business, including origination and client support
  • In conjunction with Sydney team, Project Manage all aspects of client transitions and/or overlays including planning, operational set-up, trade strategy, execution, settlement and reporting
  • Develop project plan for transitions by detailing tasks and deadlines for each item in transition checklist
  • Conduct pre-trade and post-trade analysis to analyse key risks & performance metrics involved
  • Liaise with Execution desks across multiple asset classes (equities, FX, FICC, derivatives etc) to ensure best execution outcomes
  • Liaise with all parties involved in a transition and/or overlay eg. clients, fund managers, custodians as well as internal parties eg. Middle Office, ops etc
  • Formulate efficient trading and hedging strategies to meet client needs
  • Manage relationships of external clients and internal teams
  • Market the range of Citi's products and services to pension funds, insurance companies, consultants, and investment managers


  • Comply with the ethical standards contained in the Code of Conduct
  • Adhere to firm policies and procedures, regulatory and legislative requirements


Technical/Specialist Skills/Competencies
  • Programming skills and Advanced Excel also an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal and client management skills

Business/Industry Knowledge/Competencies
  • Minimum 10 years Transition Management experience
  • Understanding of multi-asset class portfolios, Risk Management, Execution Strategies, Hedging, Operational Risk
  • Demonstrates solid knowledge and understanding of the range of Financial Markets products
  • Basic understanding of implementation and efficient trading and hedging strategies
  • Commercial tenacity
