GF - Asia Consumer O&T FP&A Anlayst ( Vice President) Job Purpose: - Lead Finance Planning & Analysis to support Consumer O&T Finance Lead in executing the strategy of the Legacy Consumer Business in Asia
- Assess and drive cost efficiencies through leading management information, analytics and metrics
- Drive strategic initiatives in partnership with Operations to improve performance and enhanced productivity
- Be the trusted advisor to the Asia O&T Finance Lead for Consumer O&T. Drive dialogue at all levels of the organization in order to support the achievement of key business and financial goals
- Provide leadership and oversee Mumbai Operations FP&A CoE team
Key Responsibilities: - Drive performance assessment by providing insights into the performance and drivers through financial analysis
- Provide insights into areas of underperformance and propose corrective actions
- Drive strategic exercises , working closely with Regional BP&A teams, Country BP&A Analysts, including preparation of strategic plans (annual budget exercise, quarterly forecast, QMMF, CCAR cycles.)
- Drive FP&A reengineering efforts in partnership with the regional FP&A team
- Partner with Asia Controllers to ensure completeness and accuracy of charge-outs
- Go beyond number crunching and effectively value-add by way of meaningful analysis via key financial drivers
- Provide support to Consumer O&T FP&A Lead to develop process Improvements and effectively manage multifarious interactions , eg., Effectively collaborate with Finance and O&T communities to ensure transparency of Operations charge-outs

- Significant scope for improving FP&A process and practice (as part of Global FP&A transformation efforts)
Knowledge/Experience: - Excellent working knowledge of Consumer businesses
- Prior experience of working within Planning and Analysis
- Broad experience of working within Finance in a highly matrixed global Financial Services firm
Skills: - Highly articulate in verbal presentations as well as written communications
- Demonstrated strength in detailed financial analysis
- Strong communications (written, verbal and interpersonal) skills, including tact, diplomacy, and ability to influence senior-level executives
- Integrity, maturity, dependability, a positive professional attitude
- Strategic mindset to integrate Operations strategy into all communications
- Track record of success in delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Ability to multi-task effectively and efficiently
Qualifications: - Strong financial accounting background with post qualification experience of 8-10 years
- Familiarity with Financial Services Industry and/or related business products would be desirable but not essential
