To drive the IFRS 17 implementation together with key persons from other departments and be responsible for actuarial matters

To perform valuation, reporting, asset-liability management and reinsurance accounting activities if needed, with primary focus on life insurance business

  • Work closely with Group Office to ensure the accounting positions and methodology are applied accurately
  • Develop Prophet model for IFRS 17 reporting
  • Work closely with PMO, Finance and IT to ensure the IFRS 17 E2E system are successfully implemented and ready to be used by the deadline
  • Work closely with Group Office and other departments to ensure the test plans are completed according to timeline to sign off the E2E system, the testing include unit testing, SIT and UAT
  • Work closely with Group Office and Finance team to prepare IFRS 17 opening balance sheet and comparative analysis
  • Support valuation and reporting work when necessary
  • Support in ad-hoc projects

  • Degree-holder, or has made reasonable progress in actuarial examinations
  • 4 - 8 years of actuarial experience, with strong valuation and reporting experience

  • Strong programming skills; and proficient in Prophet
  • Knowledge and experience in IFRS 17 is a plus

  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Strong inter-personal skill
  • Willing to be hands-on
