The Assistant Relationship Manager role forms an integral part of the front office team. Working with a small number of Relationship Managers, the Assistant Relationship Manager is responsible for all administrative tasks required to support and service high net-worth clients so as to achieve client retention.

Key Features of the Position

• Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients dealing with day-to-day administration across the range of services and products in the Bank
• Respond in a timely and professional manner to client requests, owning task execution end to end, working pro-actively with other business units to ensure delivery, resolve issues with minimal/no errors
• Assist with end to end account management, monitoring and reviewing of all accounts to ensure they stay within the parameters requested by the client
• Assist Relationship Managers in management of client relationships by handling the administrative matters arising from client meetings (e.g. account opening, reporting), including annual reviews and credit applications/reviews
• Provide support in account opening and maintenance, transaction processing and service delivery of clients’ requirements
• Prepare ad-hoc reports for clients upon request
• Identify opportunities to improve current procedures and ways of working to the benefit of our clients and assist in the implementation of change
• To perform gate-keeping functions to ensure Relationship Managers’ compliance to all regulatory and internal policies and procedures
• Maintain an up to date working knowledge of the markets, economic position, research view and product set
• At all times comply with the Bank’s internal policies and practices; as well as all relevant industry rules and regulations



• CACS Paper I & II

Professional and Technical

• Tertiary education with a minimum of 4 years of work experience in the Wealth Management area
• Knowledge in booking & settling of trades of equities, derivatives, mutual funds, FX-linked products; handling account opening documentations, checking & releasing of payments and securities transfers
• Familiar with the legal & regulatory environment
• Excellent organizational, client servicing and problem solving skills
