Human Resources & Organization

We are looking for a suitable candidate to join the HR Operations & Solutions (HRS) division as an Associate/ Assistant Vice President (1 Year Contract). You will be part of the team responsible for supporting and delivering HR operations in GIC. This role will be part of the HRS Business Advisory Team who will provide a wide range of HR generalist activities including assisting HR Business Partners in employee life cycle operational activities and providing HR advisory to the businesses you support. This is a contract role for one year, with the possibility of extending the terms subject to an annual review.

Responsibilities
  • Manage on-boarding and off-boarding process, as well as other employee life cycle activities for the businesses you support
  • Partner and build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and collaborate with them to develop solutions to issues that arise
  • Manage queries related to HR and procedures
  • Assist in annual HR activities, which may include, but not limited to performance appraisal exercises, salary and bonus reviews
  • Manage and maintain accurate HR records in employee files and HR system (SuccessFactors) to ensure data integrity
  • Assist in compilation of statistics and reports
  • Be familiar with corporate policies and ensure compliance
  • Participate in, and lead, ad-hoc HR projects and other related assignments, including identifying and implementing process improvements

Requirements
  • Degree in any discipline, with at least 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Self-driven, adaptable and hands-on team player, with a positive "can do" attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and respond to tight timelines in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, integrity and professionalism in all aspects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable and confident working with senior leaders, demonstrated ability to influence and challenge, while maintaining strong partnership
  • High attention to details, strong follow-through and ownership over tasks and issues
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills, demonstrates initiative and resourcefulness. Ability to think creatively about solutions.
  • Experience with Microsoft suite of applications (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) as well as HR-related systems. Some familiarity with SAP Success Factors is a plus
  • Prior experience in a HR shared services team, business advisory, employee relations or global HR experience (US/ UK/ China/ India/ Japan/ Korea) is a plus
  • Open to 1 year contract position
