Associate Director, FCC, MI and Reporting

The objective is to provide accurate and timely management information and reporting to Head of Country FCC across the region that enables FCC to fulfil its statement of responsibilities/ and demonstrate that it is fulfilling its strategy.


We have an opportunity for Associate Director, FCC, MI & Reporting

Overall Responsibilities

* Assist FCC AWSA regional and country leadership teams in developing MI roadmap and implementation plans to enhance availability and quality of FCC-related management informaton
* Ensure all Group defined KPIs/KRIs are ultilised at the releveant Risk Committees on a monthly basis and resultant breaches/actions are tracked and escalated as required
* Coordinate FCC reporting and controls analysis for the three financial crime policy areas (Anti-Money Laundering, Sanctions and Anti-Bribery)
* Understand and provide insight of DQMF across Country FCC Risk Committees
* In conjunction Group FCC MIDM act as the regional gate keeper and oversight of FCC Datastore (architecture and data) ensuring it operates with the appropriate controls and meets the needs of the Country FCC function and downstream consumers
* Provide oversight and consultancy to Regional FCC data consumers
* Contribute to the Group FCC MI and Data strategy, including architecture design and utilisation of reporting tools
* Understand technical aspects of systems relevant to CDD, Client Risk Assessment, Name and Transaction Screening, AML Monitoring, Case Management, ABC and Sanctions
* Delivery of MI specific to Business Segments within the region
* Document and maintain all core documents, including policies/processes/DOIs

Governance
* Attend relevant Regional FCC leadership meetings
* Collate, analyse and interpret data in reports to senior management and relevant governance / risk committees
* Design and maintain dashboards and metrics that allow FCC to dynamically monitor financial crime risk and operational performance for key FCC processes
* Analyse and interpret data to produce reports that help the bank identify and manage emerging areas of risk / vulnerability and thus drive remediation action within the FCC function

Risk Management
* Review & validate MIDM process on annual basis including approval of Process Universe and validation of PFs & root causes
* Review & affirm controls testing results
* Responsible for identifying risks relevant to Group FCC MIDM and raising them with Process Owners
* Understand technical aspects of systems relevant to CDD, Client Risk Assessment, Name and Transaction Screening, AML Monitoring, Case Management, ABC and Sanctions

Other Responsibilities
* Embed Here for good and Group's brand and values in ASA region
* Perform other responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business or Functional policies and procedures.
* All other business planning management support tasks, e.g. capacity planning, budgetary analysis, thematic studies etc. as required by the Regional Head of FCC and Regional Head of FCC Governance

Degree qualified
Direct experience in MI analysis and FCC
