Our client is an established asset manager looking to build new client relationships and distribution capabilities in Singapore and the region for 2026. For the right candidate, this position will offer significant career development opportunities and the potential for growth into broader leadership positions and responsibilities within Asset Management.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

  1. Identify and cultivate new client relationships while maintaining and enhancing existing client accounts for our Asset Management products and services.
  2. Help develop sales and distribution strategy for institutional, corporate and distribution clients in Singapore and ASEAN.
  3. Collaborate with the wider team to develop and execute sales strategies that align with the firm's goals and objectives.
  4. Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, competitor activity, and potential business opportunities in the asset management sector in ASEAN.
  5. Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations, proposals, and marketing materials tailored to meet client needs.
  6. Provide exceptional support to existing clients, ensuring they receive timely communication and insights regarding their investment portfolios.
  7. Assist in managing the sales pipeline, tracking leads and coordinating follow-up activities to drive conversion of prospects
  8. Staying updated on industry developments, regulatory changes, and product offerings to effectively communicate with clients and prospects.

Requirements

  1. Degree holder, major in business or finance related disciplines.
  2. 3-6 years of ASEAN sales experience in an asset management or wealth management.
  3. Existing client relationships in one or more client segments, and a proven track record in winning clients and growing a client following.
  4. Strong sales mentality and obvious drive, energy and desire to meet clients, develop relationships and ultimately raise assets.
  5. Strong sense of personal accountability, diligence, initiative and responsibility for owning issues through to resolution, self-motivated and able to work independently.
  6. Keen to work and able to thrive in a fast-growing business with a very broad range of asset management business lines.
  7. Excellent command of spoken and written English.
  8. Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents are preferred.
