Responsible for providing credit risk management support to WMD.
Responsible for Credit monitoring
•Daily Monitoring on collateral shortfall, limit excess, FX Margin monitoring or any credit violations
•Maintain/enhance Operating procedures in relation to Credit Monitoring
•Propose and implement improved monitoring processes.
•Support the risk team for Periodic reporting on the Credit book.
Credit Risk Underwriting
•Credit application analysis with credit authority up to $ 5mil for new, increase and reviews – KYC, searches, review of historical conduct of the account, Write up of Credit memorandum, Validation of Credit memo.
•Input of Credit Limits in risk systems
Participation to Risk Projects – Examples:
•Development of new monitoring tools for better monitoring of Wealth Management Division client exposures
•Review/amendment of credit methodology regarding loanable value of collateral (Stocks / Bonds / structured products / Funds) & Margin required for derivative trading / Netting rules for derivatives
•Enhance P&L ladder reporting for better forward looking risk management
•Development of automated reporting solutions for MIS reporting.
•Implementation/Design of Risk dashboard.
•Participation to UAT related to Credit monitoring tools.
Back-up role of Market risk function on allocation of collateral HC & determination of Margin Required.
Key Experience & Skills
Education & Professional Qualifications Required:
•Diploma /Degree in Banking/Business/Economics/Finance
•3 – 5 years of relevant experience in credit risk/analysis in an investment/ private bank. Knowledge and understanding of PB business and products.
•Able to use Bloomberg and other banking tools. proficient technically and analytically.
•Strong knowledge with Microsoft Office applications especially Microsoft Excel macros (VBA) and Access is important.
•A team player, a pleasant personality, good interpersonal skills are a necessity.
Candidate with less experience will be considered as an Analyst.
