Global Internal Audit provides independent, objective assurance to management and the risk and audit committees as to whether the framework of risk management, control, and governance processes, as designed and represented by management, is adequate and functioning.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Audit Manager.

Principal responsibilities

  • Reviews the audit reports or conclusions for each audit conducted or supported, and supports completion of the plan.
  • Identifies business process improvements for segments audited as appropriate.
  • Complies with the requirements of the Group Audit Standards Manual.
  • Maintain consistent interaction with business management.
  • Liaison with external auditors and regulators.
  • Provide management direction to foster effective selection, development and reward of subordinates.
  • Manage complex issues and develop resolutions where analysis of situations or data requires an in depth evaluation of variable factors
  • Maintain leading edge knowledge of Audit issues.
  • Ensuring that the results of the work performed by the team collectively meets the expectations of audit and business management and Regulators, in addition to being best in class in comparison to peer organizations.


Qualifications
Requirements
  • Significant years proven and progressive audit, business, and accounting experience or equivalent.
  • Lengthy proven and progressive audit, business, and accounting experience or equivalent.
  • Qualifications in business, accounting, finance, related field or equivalent experience, professional certification
  • Strong managerial skills, strong sense of personal commitment, written and verbal communication skills, analytical, problem solving, organizational, lateral thinking and interpersonal skills.
  • Broad knowledge of the Company, Group and financial services industry, business supported and the regulatory framework they operate in.
  • In depth understanding of the business, local regulation, operational risk, risk management and related controls within areas of responsibility.
  • Ability to apply technology or expertise to business issues or operational problems.
  • Willingness to travel within the region.
