TDS Technology Solutions (TS) continues to evolve, we remain focused on implementing greater rigor and governance around our planning, development, delivery, measurement and reporting activities. Our goal is to run our IT shop as a business, have the right tools and information to improve our productivity and value across all TD lines of business
We are looking for motivated IT professional to be part of our services & support team to support critical applications during major incidents and events.
Here is some of what you may be asked to perform:
• AutoSys Support includes
o Responsible for maintaining infrastructure to make sure application is up 99% of time
o New application on-boarding (involves initial requirement gathering, AutoSys training, batch designing consultation)
o Plan and drive the migration of legacy systems (non-Autosys based) to Autosys platform
o Access Provisioning, Machine & Account registration
o Incidents / troubleshoot calls
o Server OS Patching (only on weekends)
o Project works (upgrading system, implementing tools etc )
o Other BAU Tasks
• Major incident management
o Incident Management (as incident manager)
o Managing and coordinating the incident bridge
o Sending management communications
The successful candidate must possess the following with 5-7 years of relevant experience:
• Educational & Experience Requirements
o Technology Degree / Diploma or equivalent work experience.
o 7-8 years of relevant experience
• Technical Requirement
o Proficient / moderate skillsets in various technologies but not limited to - Websphere (WAS) , Windows (IIS), UNIX/LINUX (AIX), JBoss, Apache, Tomcat, database, and general networking fundamentals
o Sound knowledge of AutoSys (AE / EEM / WCC Configuration and fine tuning skills) (Knowledge of iDASH, iXP or similar tools is an added advantage)
o Basic Scripting knowledge (Batch/Shell/Perl)
• Essential Requirement
o Strong technical and coordination skills, self-motivated, highly organized and able to multi-task in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
o Self-starter and willing to offer ideas for continuous improvement.
o Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential in order to interact with support groups & clients.
o Experience and a sound understanding of infrastructure environments including an excellent understanding of IT concepts and Vendor interaction.
o Good Understanding of Enterprise Application flow
o Strong Incident & Change management skills (ITIL v3 preferred)
