Business Analysis Senior Manager – Commercial Cards
The Business Analysis Senior Manager is a senior management-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a business analytic team supporting one large system or multiple systems with responsibilities including work allocation, budget and planning, performance evaluation, compensation, staffing and other duties as assigned
  • Provide direction and technical leadership on complex, high-impact projects and in all phases of the development and implementation process, ensuring essential procedures are followed
  • Provide evaluative judgment based on analysis of information in complicated and unique situations and contribute to formulation of standards and strategies for own area and other functional areas
  • Resolve issues that have impact beyond own area and apply in-depth understanding of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas
  • Work as a team to achieve objectives and negotiate with internal and external parties
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
  • 12+ years of experience working on VisionPlus or credit cards projects.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience as a Lead Business Analyst in Credit cards domain
  • Commercial Cards business knowledge a significant plus
  • Experience in working on a large scale global projects.
Technical / Functional Proficiency:
  • Excellent functional and product solution/design skills on Core Credit Cards VisionPlus modules
  • Good knowledge on end to end cards features and across all applications
  • Excellent documentation skills in preparing business requirement, functional specs/design, use case and functional flow documents.
  • Knowledge of database concepts, PL/SQL
  • Experience with SDLC and agile methodologies and structured systems analysis and design
  • Responsible for interacting with the business, technology teams, partner systems and card processors in understanding business functionality / requirements
  • Capable of knowledge gathering / reverse engineering existing functionality of application platforms through interaction with users and technical teams
  • Effectively documenting functionality and requirements for use by technology teams
  • Communicating functionality and requirements effectively to development teams
  • Lead / support functional design preparation and review with technology teams
  • Assist testing teams in preparation and reviews of functional test scenarios
  • Experience in delivering Solution Design, Process flows, UI wireframes
  • Must have extensive experience in Microsoft tools, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and SharePoint
  • Provides all required status updates to project team, users, and various levels of management as appropriate
Leadership Skills:
  • Experience of developing business analysts teams of permanent employees and vendors
  • Excellent organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
  • Experience in Financial industry i.e. Credit Cards and Wholesale Banking
  • Demonstrated sense of responsibility and capability to deliver quickly
  • Ability to manage, build and retain talented Business Analysts/SME's.
  • Process focused to ensure efficiency, compliance and control
  • Good knowledge on product development and global solution-code management
  • Excellent communication skills. Clearly articulating and documenting technical and functional specifications is a key requirement.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred
