  1. Position: 6 Months Contract Business Researcher (Corporate & Investment Banking)

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Handle and manage research requests effectively and efficiently by selecting and utilizing the most relevant internal and external information sources
    • Utilize quantitative and qualitative secondary research products
    • Process assigned requests in a timely and cost effective manner
    • Professionally handle the tasks with value addition even when the queues are heavy
    • Handle Basic and Level 2 research across modules like Market Research, Topical, Quantitative, Economic & Financial and Sectors
    • Work on basic research while also devoting time to intermediate to complex requests
    • Be Client focused with a good understanding of bankers needs in terms of research quality and timeliness
    • Develop market research and quantitative skills while honing the ability to find granular information
    • Passing quality checks or assessments within an acceptable level
    • Assist with training and buddy junior bankers on basic research
    • Keeping track of every major regional databases, product and information sources, including understanding of their contract limit and copyrights


    Requirements:

    • Bachelor Degree in Banking & Finance or other equivalent qualifications

    Minimum 1 year of relevant working experiences within the Banking & Financial sector and some exposure in complex level research

    • Good understanding of own sector terminology, sources and availability of information, with positive interests toward Investment Banking industry, familiarity with investment banking trends and frequently requested information
    • Self-motivated, team player with strong work ethic, able to multi-task and meet deadlines.
    • Able to work under pressure and adaptable to changing work processes
    • Good communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to conduct reference interviews and discuss requirements with bankers
    • Place a high value on developing a long term career in research and enjoy interaction with a wide variety of people
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
