Description

Manage regional technology operations - service support & delivery:
  • Manage partners & service providers to ensure optimal delivery of production management services for applications & infrastructure supporting the business, ensuring alignment with expected business defined service levels, business priorities, Corporate policies and legal / regulatory requirements
  • Ensure consistent monitoring of metrics from partners & service providers to measure performance and drive optimization in order to provide continuous value and service to the business
  • Ensure proactive, accurate and timely communications services, risks and issues and prioritize based on criticality and ensure proper escalation where appropriate
  • Continuous evaluation of customer satisfaction and value perception
Manage and implement global / regional initiatives for the region in accordance with CCB strategy and objectives:
  • Create, maintain, measure strategy and operating plans aligned with  business / sector / regional strategies and objectives; lead team to create business values and key capabilities  through innovative use of technology
  • Manage a multiple vendor environment to achieve optimum results from a technical, cost and service delivery perspective
  • Establish & maintain productive partnerships with APAC / Global Business, Operations and Technology partners. Ensure - goals, objectives and requirements of the business are represented / understood; governance framework / processes are in place to manage initiatives so that they are delivered successfully for the business
  • Build talent within the team by creating a culture of ownership / accountability focused on delivering results, meritocracy and transparency
  • Build a team which acts as a trusted partner to the business by delivering products and services benefiting the business; leverages the capabilities of Citi / industry in identifying solutions that contribute to the goals of the business
Risk & Controls / Internal Audit:
  • Work with CCB Global Tech Risk and Controls for governance and compliance with local and organizational regulatory requirements, including compliance with Citi policy and operating procedures, delivering effective Manager Control Assessment (MCA), and satisfying audit requirements
  • Regional tech interface for business integrated audits - coordinate with other sector technology groups to provide appropriate tech related artifacts to support audit activities
  • Regional tech management for any CCB regional tech-related audits
Manage budgets, financials, forecasts / outlooks, allocations, financial reporting:
  • Manage financials - key responsibilities include budgeting, financial and expense management, business allocation model / methodology and monthly financials management reporting; responsibility for all technology allocations to the CCB Asia managed segment
  • Ensure that technology financials are presented and reviewed with the Commercial Bank Business Heads / Global CCB technology teamin their respective countries
Outsourcing:
  • Regional management and support of outsourcing regulatory clearance and insourcing for CCB Asia initiatives
  • Manage all outsourcing-related activities such as annual due diligence to ensure completion and compliance to legal / regulatory requirements
  • Ensure timely tracking  and reporting for both global and regional outsourcing initiatives with regional and senior stakeholders
Manage Production Support Activities and team:
  • Manage all matters related to the APAC Production Support Team including
  • Managing APAC team, their Planview Charges, recoveries, etc
  • Manage all system uptime metrics, including # of tickets opened, # of tickets closed, # of SEV1, 2, 3, etc
Relationship Management:
  • Build and Maintain relationships with Technology Peers and Technology Management
  • Build and Maintain relationship with APAC LOB Head


Qualifications

  • Experienced technology individual who will lead the regional team in establishing & maintaining successful engagements with APAC / Global Business, Operations and Technology partners; ensure the quality of technology services, create / deliver value and manage the delivery of key capabilities to the Commercial Banking business. Provide leadership as required in areas outside the scope of the basic position through special projects, committee or task force assignments at business / sector / regional levels
  • Adopts a leadership role in exploring and developing key themes  such as optimization, centralization, straight-through-processing and outsourcing, leveraging cross-sector organizational resources where necessary to drive and implement these initiatives
  • Holds a strong track record of cultivating effective partnerships; demonstrated experience with people management and developing effective teams, promoting a conducive and inclusive work environment marked by diversity and meritocracy; establishing succession plans to ensure continuity
  • Maintain permanent controls readiness, an effective control and compliance environment; ensure compliance with Corporate policies and legal / regulatory requirements
  • Support and actively deliver against regional and global financial and resource goals, people strategy
  • Ability to present to all levels of management both senior and peers
  • Manage CCB APAC Technology Budget including establishment of capacity plans, billing, recovery, and all other facets of the finances
