Apple’s Global Finance Shared Services (GFSS) organization operates four shared service centers around the world today. GFSS in Singapore manages all accounting activities for Apple’s extensive businesses in Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Japan. To support the expansion, we are seeking to recruit a Finance Manager in the Order to Cash process pillar to support the growth in the Retail and iTunes business. Retail AR Services Manager will has the primary responsibility for managing Retail and iTunes consumer payments which include credit card transactions, prepaid, financing and other payment methods for the region. The successful candidate will be leading a team that supports the reconciliation, credit card charge back investigation and customer disputes. 

  • Provide leadership to the reconciling and chargeback teams and ensuring talent development plans are delivered 
  • Partner with Apple retail (Store and Online) business teams to support business initiatives 
  • Engage and develop excellent relationship with business partners and customers including back office team, retail, telesales in delivering best in class business support 
  • Collaborate with finance partners including Treasury, Technical accounting, retail and iTunes finance to meet and align deliverables 
  • Execute operations to ensure key operational metrics and service level agreements are achieved 
  • Ability to think on an enterprise level and be forward looking
  • Solid analytical skills with a process focus. The ability to recognize issues within processes and organizations, while considering functional interdependencies.
  • Manage close process by ensuring timely preparation of balance reconciliation and review 
  • Work with the global Order-to-Cash team to drive global consistency in both system and process initiatives 
  • Maintain highest standard of controls environment and SOX compliance  

Key Qualifications :

  • Finance professional with at minimum 10 years of experience with at least 2 years of people management role in a multi-national company
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, organizational and problem solving skills
  • Qualified Accountant with strong business partnering focus
  • Strong communicator skills with the ability to influence and communicate with business partners and senior management 
  • Ability to anticipate change, think strategically and globally, influencing change across organization
  • Experience in e-commerce and retail an added advantage 

Education:  

Business / Accounting / Finance Degree
