Regional sanctions advisory role with a multinational bank. This is a leadership role that looks into the development and maintenance of an effective sanctions framework. The roles offers the privilege to work closely with seasoned AML/Sanctions professionals, entails career progression and development.

The organisation offers you the chance to:

  • Stay abreast of Sanctions regulations changes and advise on sanctions escalations (e.g. trade finance/wire transfers)
  • Assist in drafting and development of sanctions policies and procedures
  • Provide suggestions and strategies to mitigate sanctions risks
  • Assist in sanctions system roll out and submission of escalation statistics to senior stakeholders/management.

You offer:

  • Sanctions advisory experience in the banking sector
  • Experience in implementation of Sanctions policies at a regional level will be preferred
  • Experience in corporate banking products, trade finance or remittance will be a plus
  • Good at building relationships and credibility
