The Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) combines Deutsche Bank's Corporate Finance, Global Markets and Global Transaction Banking businesses. This new business division was created in 2017 with the aim to ensure greater alignment of product and sales efforts, enabling the bank to deliver a better service to clients and a more focused resource allocation.
Corporate Finance is comprised of regional and industry-focused coverage teams that ensure the delivery of the entire range of financial products and services to the bank's corporate clients. The business includes the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) team as well as the debt and equity capital markets (DCM and ECM) teams.
Global Markets is dedicated to building long-term, sustainable relationships with the bank's key corporate and institutional clients. It combines a market-leading institutional sales force, world-class research with trading and structuring expertise to provide clients with access to liquidity and customised solutions across a wide range of markets, products and regions.
Global Transaction Banking (GTB) is a leading global provider of cash management, trade finance and securities services, delivering the full range of commercial banking products and services for both corporates and institutions worldwide. Position Overview

KYC Client Onboarding analyst is responsible for ensuring client is successfully on boarded as required per global KYC policy, local KYC requirements, meeting tax, and regulatory norms.
The role requires KYC policy knowledge for Local Singapore and Hong Kong regulations, good knowledge of client onboarding documents including Regulatory documents.
Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with internal compliance (AFC) and client outreach teams
Part of role requires performing client due diligence, fronting the KYC control teams and liaising with all levels of management across customers for CIB (GTB, CF, GM) business lines, Compliance, and other support areas to ensure and efficient, flexible and accurate process for on boarding.
Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform KYC due diligence and ensure end-to-end management of all activities
  • Ensure business and clients are provided with the KYC, regulatory requirements for all onboarding requests
  • Review and analyze KYC information on file, including Customer Due Diligence, to appropriately request and collect information when needed in accordance with current KYC policies
  • Liaise regularly with numerous stakeholders including but not limited to; middle office, compliance and front office
  • Ensure adherence to standards, procedures and also identify risk mitigates and is fully aware of Operational Risk management
  • Participate in regular operational performance reviews and monthly self-assessment
  • Remain updated with Regulation and Industry Knowledge
  • All overdue and ageing request are followed and placed for closure or hold to ensure effective management for cases in the pipeline
    Experience -skills
    • Experience in the Banking-Finance industry with general knowledge of Business Banking - CIB product set
    • KYC background with experience working in Client Onboarding team and dealing with clients and internal Sales teams
    • Good knowledge of regulatory trends and developments.
    • Eye for detail and willingness to question current state practices
    • Pro-active and business centric with proven ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
