Group Quality & Service Excellence (GQSE) is looking for a Data Analyst on a six-month contract. The successful candidate will assist in managing and analysing project data for useful & actionable insights as well as in programming Robotics Process Automation (RPA), Visual Basic and/or Python.

What you'll do
  • Support GQSE Project Facilitators to interpret data, analyze results and prepare reports
  • Analyze and interpret trends to identify patterns in data sets
  • Filter and clean data by reviewing reports and printouts to locate and amend incorrect or inaccurate information
  • Work with GQSE Project Facilitators to optimize business and information needs
  • Assist in identifying new process improvement opportunities

What you bring
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Banking and Finance, Business Administration, Information Management, Statistics or other related fields, with 2 - 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the banking industry
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good understanding of data science with ability to perform data modelling and visualization
  • Competent in report writing and present findings in ways that are easily understood
  • Objectivity, perseverance and an inquisitive mind are desirable qualities
  • Candidates with Lean/Six Sigma knowledge will have an added advantage
