TT is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced DevOps Manager for our Singapore office. The ideal candidate is passionate about building teams, thrives on providing world class customer service, and has strong technical abilities across the IT operations stack (hardware, networking, middleware, database and applications). Our ideal candidate has a software development background with a passion for operations, managing talent and driving to automate. Technical leadership and ability to handle high pressure situations is a must.

Act as an end-user advocate to ensure that service issues are resolved immediately
Frontline break/fix support for production trading application delivered via SaaS
Action infrastructure, system and network alerts and remediate production issues across a global distribution of Windows and Linux servers
Monitoring of infrastructure, systems and application availability and performance with Icinga (Nagios), Graphite, Splunk and proprietary software
Continuous improvement of system and application monitoring and automation using Python, Ruby and Bash scripts
Deployment of applications to production, stage, and test environments using Chef
Inform management on the progress of production impacting incidents
Research and create information in-line with our Knowledge Management methodology
Deliver first class customer service to our global customer base
Clearly define and document all issues
Manage multiple incidents simultaneously in a high pressured environment
Effectively and thoroughly inform customer(s) and/or end-user(s) of incident progress
Learn to develop resource, product functionality, and technical/troubleshooting knowledge
Test software functionality and participate in reproducing software issues as necessary
Manage technical escalation of high priority incidents
Provide staffing for occasional evening/weekend work
Serve as the escalation point for customers, driving issues to resolution either individually or via the appropriate team members.

3+ years managing software support or devops personnel
Exceptional technical and system knowledge
3+ years of experience in a derivatives trading operations or any financial trading support environment
Knowledge of electronic trading with working algorithmic knowledge
Enthusiastic ability to motivate and inspire
BS/BA or equivalent practical experience in related discipline
3-5 years experience supporting 24/7 mission critical applications or services in production
3-5 years experience writing production quality scripts, SDLC experience preferred
Strong Knowledge of Linux operating systems and system administration
Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services (experience with AWS is preferred)
Experience with scripting languages (Python, Ruby, Perl, Bash, etc.)
Experience with deployment automation and related tools, like Chef or Puppet
Experience with infrastructure and system monitoring tools, Nagios, Icinga, Splunk, etc.
Experience with network analysis (e.g Wireshark, tcpdump, etc)
Working knowledge of web development technologies, e.g. Javascript, HTML, CSS, XML
Outstanding problem solving and troubleshooting skills required
Understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems
Demonstrated understanding of Trading software (TT software a plus)
Strong initiative and strives to improve self and team
Strong teamwork orientation, interaction and collaboration
Familiarity with FIX Protocol 4 or higher is a plus
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a global team
