Partner with S&P Global Foundation to support its goal to find the essential connections between our skills and the needs of society. Help make an impact in the communities where we work and live and support the regional internal communications team.

What's in it for you:

  • The S&P Global Corporate Responsibility team is seeking a Director, Corporate Responsibility, APAC to establish and build relationships across the senior leadership team to strengthen CR programming, increase measureable outcomes and ensure the effectiveness of internal engagement and external partnerships
  • This newly created position has global reach and will include managing Corporate Responsibility activities, relationship management with partners and vendors, and strong program management, including metrics and reporting
  • This critical role will work alongside the VP, Corporate Responsibility and engage with senior stakeholders across the organization, providing regionally staffing for the S&P Global Foundation
  • Working closely with public affairs colleagues and the internal communications global team and other public affairs colleagues, the individual will support regional internal communications activities
  • This role is both internally and externally facing, and will represent CR and the Foundation internally as well as conducting outreach to external partners and organizations

Responsibilities:
  • Lead regional CR activities; liaise with senior business and functional leaders, support local employee engagement, including annual volunteering activities, Green Teams, CoRe team initiatives, matching gift and disaster emergency response and relief
  • Identify, cultivate new partnerships and strengthen existing partnerships; identify new partnership opportunities; work with grantees on proposal submissions, onboarding, impact, and reporting
  • Manage the full lifecycle of grants from concept to closing, ensuring responsive and timely decisions and follow up
  • Working across Corporate Responsibility team, ensure activities are strategically aligned; support regional teams and broad CR goals as needed
  • Liaise with global internal communications and strategic regional Public Affairs role coordinated stakeholder activities and manage relationships with seniors leaders
  • Support Corporate Responsibility's implementation of new technologies and practices, with a focus on a more modern and effective process for gift matching, grant making and partnership proposals

What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7-9 years experience
  • Proven ability to prioritize, work independently, handle multiple, complex tasks simultaneously
  • Generate pragmatic solutions to real or potential problems and recognize and leverage key opportunities
  • Strong service orientation and interpersonal as well as superb written/verbal communication skills
  • Superb program management & budget management skills
  • Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Office 365, Box, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Knowledge of corporate foundation processes and procedures, a plus
  • Experience with CSR technology platforms a plus
  • Ability to navigate complex environments, and help build relationships with a variety of stakeholders and organizations, strongly preferred
  • Strong EQ and ability to work in a fast-paced, highly-matrixed, geographically diverse organization
