Join a global US manufacturing firm who is recruiting for an engaging Finance & Cost Operations Lead. Reporting to the Financial Controller and leading 1 direct report, you will be a vital business partner to the Plant GMs and senior stakeholders. You will be working amongst seasoned team members within a culture of accountability.
You will be handling project accounting, involving planning and collecting data to govern costs of business activity, analysing new product or deviations in product design, raw materials, and manufacturing techniques to decide the effects on cost. You will implement monthly financial closing, analysis and reporting, including reconciliation of subsidiary ledgers and preparation of accounts schedules in a timely manner. Partnering with the management and various key stakeholders, you will accomplish target/objectives sets, which include providing management with reports stipulating and comparing elements that impact prices and profitability. You will also assess internal control and processes for continuous improvements, guarantee compliance with all corporate and accounting policies and reporting deadlines. Additionally, you will guarantee statutory compliance and timely reporting to government bodies. You will also partner with external stakeholders such as banks, customers, vendors, government agencies, auditors and tax agent, and assist the management in all areas of financial management and projects. Lastly, you will conduct reconciliation on inventory and valuation of finished goods and WIP, and handle annual planning and quarterly forecast of financial performance
To be a successful candidate, you must possess Degree in Accounting with at least 5 years' of relevant work experience in cost accounting and cost analysis. You must possess solid analytical and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with senior stakeholders. Exposure in handling multiple projects with experience in using ERP systems are essential to have.
