Your team Electronic Trading Infrastructure (ETI) is a Global team which contains highly skilled technical Project Managers who looks after Financial Exchanges and External client connectivity for Equities (EQ) and Foreign Exchange (FX) business for the bank. The ETI team also contains a group of skilled network specialists who are directly aligned to EQ and FX business and provides end-to-end support for the Low Latency Dedicated Execution Network (DEN) networks covering designing, planning, building and supporting the DEN network which provided connectivity to Financial Exchange and External Clients. You'll be working as part of the Low Latency implementation team in Singapore and will be closely aligned with the Investment Banks EQ and FX businesses.
Your expertise More specifically, you will be responsible for the following:
Service Delivery
• Providing client solutions based on global standards and hardware blueprints
• Providing capital and resource requirements to Service Delivery team
• Providing design documentation including operational processes and procedures
• Deploying fault tolerant client solutions
Incident Resolution and Management
• Liaising with Regional Operations team
• Working closely with the ETI Project Managers
• Collaborating with the FX and EQ Businesses and with Application Support teams
• Providing 3rd level Incident Support
• Providing Vulnerability Management Support
• Post Incident and Problem Management reporting
• Liaising with Regional Operations team to provide root cause analysis
• Providing timely incident reporting to Operational Governance and Senior Management Teams
Change Management - Maintaining the integrity of our production environment
• Participating in weekly, peer technical and procedural reviews of all changes submitted to the regional networking team
• Maintaining the Data Implementation Team Change Log
• Performing complex and client-based system installations
• Tracking metrics on successes and failures
Optimization - Deliver best in class service
• Design Assurance - Liaising with the Regional Operations team to ensure proposed solutions are engineered to fit client needs, and accounts for all levels of resiliency and growth
• Ensure compliance with global standards including configuration and OS best practices are applied
Your Experience & Skills
You have significant experience in supporting low latency networking within the financial services sector, specifically Cisco, Juniper and Arista routing / switching, Juniper / Palo Alto FW, A10 ADC and F5 GTM/LTM.
Requirements
• Strong Network Engineering, Network design and project delivery experience
• Advance knowledge of routing and switch protocols
• Experience with Multicast: PIM, RP, IGMP, MSDP
• Experience with Unicast: BGP, OSPF, NAT, IPSEC and GRE
• Experience with Switching: STP, VLAN/VxLAN, HSRP/VRRP, vPC/MLAG
• Excellent communication skills and ability to perform under pressure and detail oriented
• Good knowledge of network monitoring tools landscape (PCAP, Wireshark, PTP, Corvil)
• Good understanding of Firewalls and Load balancing technologies and techniques
Good to have
• Good understand of market venues, exchange protocols
• Good knowledge of scripting and automation (Python, Perl, Ansible)
Ideally you will hold CCNP/CCIE accreditation.
