As an Event Coordinator within the Investment Solutions & Products department, you will be responsible for the end-to-end logistical delivery of a full mix of client and internal product events.
Stakeholder management (internal & external) - facilitate and conduct effective meetings with senior event hosts to discuss objectives and goals of the meeting/event and with external suppliers for delivery of goods and/or services associated with an event.
Management of all components of prescribed event budgets - including all approval processes, risk controls and final cost analysis and the ability to present dedicatedly, creative cost saving suggestions.
Negotiate supplier contract terms and conditions to ensure competitive pricing is achieved for all related supplies and services.
Ensure and execute compliance of the Bank's policies and procedures relating to legal and compliance, audit, risk and finance
Operating within our Conduct & Ethic standards, being aware of operational risk, raising when any identified with a focus on striving for operational excellence and working with the wider team on constant improvement.
You have an experience of event marketing by translating a brief into appropriate content, building an event into a broader campaign
You have the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and prioritize a heavy workload under pressure, to tight deadlines and with meticulous accuracy
You have strong communication skills and are able to communicate confidently at a senior level both internally and with clients - excellent written and verbal
Able to analyze problems and dedicatedly find appropriate and acceptable solutions
Cost focused with strong negotiation skills and emphasis on quality and "value add"
Great teammate, willing to work in a collaborative team environment, show initiative and good work ethic
Aptitude to navigate differing technology solutions - e.g. Dealogic, Lanyon etc.
A flexible approach to work hours, the role may require some travel
