Description

  • Manage overall Deposits business including Debit Card within Retail
  • This businesses are pivotal pillars within Retail and currently account for approximately one-third of total Retail revenue
  • Key role comprises of formulating business strategies and plans to strengthen business performance including balance sheet, margins and revenues
  • Manage Deposit business strategies and revenue (i.e. formulating business plans, pricing, product launches and key initiatives, etc.)
  • Drive Mastercard Debit Card business strategies and revenue growth including feature enhancements to targeted spend categories
  • Manage crucial periodical regulatory submissions (i.e. SDIC annual submission and audit, CFP Drill for GCG, CCAR, ICAAP, etc.)
  • Oversee branches pricing on customer deposits, campaigns to drive and maintain Net New Money, work with segments, acq channels, marketing and decision management to drive portfolio growth
  • Govern day-to-day operational tasks of the deposits business and Manage Deposit related initiatives (e.g. US Tax, FAST, GIRO, Checks, etc.)
  • Responsible for Financial Plan preparations and reviews
  • Own and optimise deposits policies and procedures to improve internal stakeholder and customer experience
  • Compliance with regulatory requirements and factual accuracy including managing product programs and deposits documentation (terms and conditions, application forms, letters, emails)  
  • Ensure adherence to all local and global regulatory requirements, internal policies
  • Undertake other projects and activities upon request


Qualifications

Key Skills and Experience:
  • Degree qualifications in finance, marketing or related fields preferred 
  • At least 8-10 years of banking experience in a product/portfolio management, segment or marketing role
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skill
  • High level of energy, strong coordination and campaign management skills
  • Detail oriented, result driven and good team player
  • Understanding of Singapore deposits market
  • Experience working on multiple tasks with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Self-starter who is proactive and takes initiative
  • Ability to work to deadlines and multi-task
