Description

  • The Sales and Distribution function within Citi APAC and EMEA is undergoing a significant and rapid evolution to ensure we stay leading edge and future fit. This includes pooling our Relationship Managers in Wealth Hubs; ensuring they have access to a deep bench of specialist support, world class products, sales and advice tools and development programs; driving more effective sales management practice; and reconfiguring our branch ecosystem and sales processes to enable high quality remote engagement with customers wherever possible
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
  • This role will report to the Regional Head of SandD Branch sales and to provide support on decision making process around branch optimization and profitability
  • Ongoing management of existing branch network and thought leadership and execution of "Branch of the Future"
  • Oversee physical distribution such as branch, ATM and Hubs including Citi Realty Service
  • Owner of the New Physical Location process
  • To coordinate activities at regional level to improve branch performance, measurement, profitability and support the planned distribution optimization for the ASIA (APAC and EMEA) region
  • Work closely with countries to enhance their distribution capability, to achieve productivity in the existing branch network and sales force
  • Leading the implementation of the Branch Performance Management, for example branch profitability and SVA initiative and analytical support for other Regional SandD initiatives
  • Supporting Distribution optimization (Branches/ATMS/Hubs/Ecosystem build)
  • Interacting with in-country Retail Bank SandD teams to channel initiatives led by Product, Segment, Marketing, Quality and Training as appropriate
  • Interaction and co-ordination with Branch Operations and Channel Delivery teams to identify opportunities and to improve processes
  • Rapid adoption of digital sales and advice tools being rolled out across the network including Total Wealth Adviser and eFNA and IPOS (insurance). This includes ensuring the right training takes place (upfront and ongoing), continuous improvement feedback is provided to regional SandD tool team, and we have a coherent strategy that avoids clutter and conflict across products/segments
  • Ability to streamlining, simplifying and digitizing sales and service processes, and to work in close collaboration with the Channel Delivery, Branch Ops, and Compliance /Controls teams to execute transformation strategies
  • To lead branch efforts with respect to Always Teach Digital and optimizing sales support processes following distribution model changes (e.g. hubbing)


Qualifications

The ideal candidate would meet the following requirements:
  • Tertiary qualified in either business or finance related discipline
  • At least 10 years industry experience in a similar capacity, preferably with a consulting  background or have had significant experience in driving business transformation
  • Wealth management experience is desirable but not essential
  • Strong background and proven track record in project management in a multi-national retail business environment is desirable
  • Ability to develop, implement and execute high impact business transformation strategies
  • Ability to work and make decisions independently as well as collaborate effectively as part of a wider team
  • Ability to influence others and excellent stakeholder management skills is required
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and to deliver results under pressure
  • Analytical and have a "can do" attitude
  • Willingness to work across time zones with global and regional teams
Knowledge/Experience/

Technical Skills:

  • This role requires 10 years+ of industry experience in a business transformation/consulting capacity
  • Strong background and proven track record in project management is desirable
  • Experience in decision management, or financial industry is desirable
  • Experience in manage projects across multi-national environment is desirable
  • Travel as required
