An exciting Head of Account Management job has just become available at an international insurance company. Your main responsibility is to support the Head of Distribution in achieving the revenue targets for the region through leading of the region retention strategy.

About the Head of Account Management Role:

In this business critical role, you will be responsible for supporting the strategic plan and ensuring the alignment of activities. You will also be developing and implementing the business plan to retain the existing customer's portfolio by understanding their needs and challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be in charge of managing the short and long-term financial strategy to maximise the company's revenue
  • Be accountable for developing and nurturing existing relationships (internally and externally) by focusing on the highest levels of influence in each organisation
  • Conduct effective, consultative and relationship-based cross selling, working with the Health Insurance Consultants and Sales Manager in leading the RFP and cross-sale opportunities
  • Be responsible for RFPs, legal and contract issues
  • Manage the Account Managers and account service representatives teams
  • Responsible for on-going coaching and mentoring, and contribute to the development of learning and performance programs for the staff

To succeed in the Head of Account Management job, you will need to have strong and relevant experience in the insurance industry running a P&L and large teams.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Insurance, Marketing or any related disciplines
  • A minimum of 12 years' experience in key account management across the insurance industry
  • Health insurance and employee benefits background is a plus
  • Strong people management skills and capable to handle professionally internal and external clients
  • Convincing, rigorous, leadership and proactive
