Head of Cash Digital Growth & Development - Global Transaction Services (GTS)
Business Function
Global Transaction Services (GTS) comprises of Cash & Trade, Securities Services and Fiduciary Services. Cash Management and Trade Finance is the mainstay of GTS, and our products & services are extended to SME and corporate clients for their local and cross-border financial transaction needs. Our products help our clients navigate the complexities of operating & excelling in an increasingly borderless world, both in terms of cash management and trade finance services.
As part of GTS's Group Cash Management team, we are seeking a blockchain enthusiast with a leadership mindset of innovation and creativity for developing existing and new Products. She/He should be an experienced leader, familiar with user growth techniques focused on increasing the user base and driving adoption of our solutions.
Job Purpose
  • Lead, develop and grow digital capabilities for Cash management products, with clear commercialization plan and deliver positive impact to DBS's leadership position in Cash management;
  • Provide leadership to a team of Product and Project managers in developing innovative cash management products to drive digitalization and adoption, to grow the Cash management business and gain market share;
  • Drive selected key initiatives, including the use of blockchain and DLT in our products; the establishment & operation of a new digital currency platform, and other iconic journeys;
  • Provide business/product representation as required, on digital engagements for Cash management.
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Define the Cash digital growth strategy and plan, along the Group Head of Cash Management;
  • Lead team of Product and Project managers to drive digital product development, identify revenue growth opportunities within existing products and through expansion into new products & services;
  • Set high standards for digital cash journeys to clients, seek to deliver superior customer experience and service vis-à-vis competition;
  • Collaborate and exert influence with key stakeholders across business, technology, operations, L&C and other teams, including locations, in defining key performance metrics; aligning objectives; designing product infrastructure and operating models to achieve superior business growth;
  • Stay close to the market, conduct regular review of existing digital product suite, pricing, servicing, features etc. to drive, sustain extent competitiveness;
  • Drive consistency of digital cash product offerings across the region, and establish regular cadence with in-country teams to drive commercialization and scale;
  • Review and ensure proper processes and controls are in place for risk mitigation and compliance with applicable policies and regulations;
  • Be the digital advocate within the Cash Management product organization, including collaboration with marketing, client management, bizCare and other customer facing teams for outreach, and award pitches
Required Experience & Key Success Factors
  • More than 10 years of product management or related work experience in financial services / ecommerce / management consulting; or technology background with 5+ years of product management experience;
  • Familiar with blockchain and DLT technologies, especially on cryptocurrency wallets, exchange, smart contracts, and basic understanding of digital toolsets such as Cloud, APIs, machine learning, Data analytics;
  • Good understanding of Transaction Banking related products is an advantage ;
  • Analytical, and able address business specific issues through obtaining & analysing data, to validate opportunities, and also push user adoption and growth;
  • Demonstrated success in client engagement and engaging internal partners to designing solutions, track record of delivering impactful business solutions;
  • Desire to keep up with industry and market developments and assess how these impact the business;
  • Excellent communication, coordination and relationship building skills, with experience working in cross functional and cross location roles;
  • Experience in internationally renowned fintech companies, or experience in product development for large platform products are a plus;
  • Experience in regional/global facing products preferred, especially in payments or financial software products;
  • Highly adaptable, self-starter, ability to deal with ambiguity, thrives in fast-moving and high-growth environments, bias towards action.
