Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Tenant-Ops Support for Development and Production API platforms, delivering on complex, enterprise-level initiatives that are a part of the company's overall strategic direction
  • Provide business sector technical leadership to ensure world class performance of critical underpinning application infrastructure. Collaborate with infrastructure and application owners to improve sector estate IT performance, risk posture, and cost
  • Provide thought leadership for Middleware and Messaging technologies for Consumer business, and communicate feature availability thru well-defined roadmaps
  • Leadership of development and production tenant operations for their respective regions
  • Engage key business & technology stakeholder teams, in conjunction with the regional CIO direct, to ensure strategic alignment and clarity and support of business priorities
  • Ensure effective participation in business process reviews and facilitate journey mapping efforts for Middleware and Messaging platforms.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for development and automation in the region
  • Mentor and coach agile delivery principles
  • Understand risk posture of end to end technology solutions and prioritize remediation activities across infrastructure and application support teams
  • Lead business sector specific service improvement plans to address deficiencies in technology solutions and operational processes
  • Promote adoption of highly scalable, well-conditioned architecture standards
  • Act as a primary liaison between application & infrastructure architects and infrastructure support teams
  • Develop relationships with key customers to identify emerging needs
  • Collaborate with client managers, project managers, application, and infrastructure teams to plan and coordinate business critical project delivery
  • Accountable for root cause analysis for Severity 1, Severity 2, and chronic recurring incidents that impact the business sector
  • Establish and foster relationships with internal and external clients providing the agreed level of service
  • Ensure delivery of customer and strategic projects and initiatives in line with the standards and policies established and owned by the Global Platform Engineering entity
  • Ensure consistency of processes and procedures in alignment with the DP & IM  standards
  • Ensure conformance to applicable information security and regulatory policies governing the sector, the company, and the countries supported, representing the Middleware and Messaging teams in all internal and external audits
  • Provide proactive talent management and retention, hiring, identifying and retaining top talent and establishing the firm's culture following the GCT and O&T operating and guiding principles
  • Ensure Middleware and Messaging Server administration processes are inline and compliant with corporate and information security policy


  • Bachelor degree in computer science or other related along with equivalent work experience
  • At least 10 years of experience in manging/leading enterprise level IT projects in Middleware and Messaging technologies
  • Hands-on Experience in managing API, IBM MQ Series, TIBCO EMS, BW, BE, AMX BPM, IBM WAS, IBM HTTPS Servers,  TOMCAT, GEMFIRE, PCF, Solace, KAFKA, Mulesoft, APIGEE etc
  • Experience with issues facing large scale server environments
  • Automation, Development or DevOps background is desired
  • Experience in architecture and support best practices in above Middleware and Messaging products in a complex banking environment
  • Broad knowledge in systems monitoring, alerting and analytics (AppDynamics, Logstash, Splunk, etc.
  • Experience leading transformation and transition of IT shops from legacy to cloud platforms
  • Experience in architecture and support best practices in Middleware and Messaging technologies in complex banking environment
  • Sound problem resolution, judgment, decision-making and influencing skills required
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and project management skills
  • Hard working and self-motivated. Able to work effectively under pressure.

  • Experience in IT transformation and/or ITIL implementation in a similar industry
