Infrastructure Solution Specialist (Director / Associate Director)

Role & Responsibilities:
1. Infrastructure Solutioning and Design:

  • Participate in enterprise infrastructure solutioning as the solutioning PM and/ or solution architect in various infrastructure and security domain, such as network and telecommunication, system, security, desktop, storage and data centre technologies
  • Design solutions in compliance with architecture standards, guiding principles and Information Security policies
  • Participate in the development of RFP documents
  • Review RFP responses
  • Provide proposal design, cost estimations and timelines
  • Conduct Proof Of Concept to validate the proposed design
  • Conduct market scan to keep abreast on the current available technologies and technology trends
  • Develop design documents and solutioning reports
  • Prepare business case and justification
2. Infrastructure Implementation:
  • Provide technical leadership in the implementation of Infrastructure projects in his/her expert domain knowledge
  • Work with and manage various system integrators and service provider to deliver the projects within timeline and with zero defects
  • Work with the project teams to develop and review changes and implementation plan
  • Work with the project teams to develop test cases prior to the implementation


Qualifications
WORK EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
  • With minimum 7 years of experience in his/her domain area, preferably in the financial services industry
  • Strong technical skill and practical experience specifically on his domain knowledge and generally on other domain area.
  • Able to propose and design a highly resilient, scalable, secure, high performance and cost effective enterprise infrastructure
  • Good verbal and written communication skills and able to manage all level of stakeholders, i.e. users, project team, security, compliance and IT operations
  • Technically versed and able to integrate all the infrastructure components, i.e. platform (Unix and Wintel), databases, storage, middleware and clustering technology
  • Good troubleshooting skills
  • Creative thinking in problem solving, proactive and fast learner
  • Certified in his domain area
