Details Title: KYC and Compliance Specialist Location: Singapore Salary: Competitive market rate Duration: 6-month contract


  • Implementing and managing a risk and compliance monitoring program in line with local and international standards
  • Maintaining appropriate written procedures to ensure compliance with applicable legislation, regulations and our client policies, and to monitor adherence to such procedures
  • Monitoring and advising on local and global regulatory developments and their potential impact
  • Responsible for operational risk awareness and training for the staff - providing advice and training to management and staff on risk mitigation and regulatory compliance matters
  • Implementation of approved risk and compliance initiatives
  • Drive the development of the operational risk framework and policies
  • Ensure all operational risks are identified, managed, monitored, and reported to the Risk and Compliance Committee
  • Accountable for tools and methodologies to aid in root cause analysis and management of compliance and operational risk events
  • Provide comprehensive updates to Management and the Board in relation to the operational risk and compliance environment

Experience :

  • Private Banking background focused on Trust Entities for at least 3 to 5 years
  • Experience with trust-related source of wealth remediation
  • Relevant work experience dealing with compliance and risk - deep experience of risk management and regulatory frameworks
  • Deep understanding and knowledge of the regulatory environment and working in an environment investigating, monitoring, and preventing financial crime
  • Understanding of market and product developments relating to compliance and operational risk
  • Strategic thinking and strong leadership with commercial acumen, and ability to bring people together to deliver on longer-term goals
  • Experience in managing challenging internal stakeholders
  • Proven problem solving, influencing, communication and relationship management skills, building relationships outside of area of function
  • Expertise and proven experience in leading teams and a passion for managing people
  • Client-focused and service-oriented, professionally minded, committed and able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills
