Team Description
We are looking for a chartered secretary to join our company secretarial team of the Legal Department. The successful candidate would join our company secretarial team, reporting to our senior Corporate Secretary and assume responsibility for covering firm entities in the Asia Pacific ex-Japan region (APEJ).

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
The successful candidate would join as Analyst or Associate (depending on experience). He or she will be based in Singapore and be responsible for company secretarial and related licensing and regulatory matters for Goldman Sachs entities across AEJ. Responsibilities will include:

Assist senior staff in providing full spectrum of company secretarial duties to the group in-house companies, which include:-

    • organize physical board meetings
    • prepare board minutes and resolutions, and attend to statutory filings
    • maintain proper statutory books and records
  • Liaise and coordinate with internal and external parties, including offshore agents and regulatory bodies
  • Carry out ad-hoc assignments as required

S KILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Basic Qualifications
  • Fluent in Chinese d ue to review of Chinese documents and interactions with Chinese speaking colleagues and clients
  • Qualified professional member of ICSA/SAICSA
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in company secretarial fields
  • Proficient in SFA requirements and companies laws in Singapore, offshore regulations and compliance

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience preferably at a regulated financial institution
  • Qualified professional member of HKICS
