The Finance team covers business performance of all countries within Asia region, key responsibilities of this role include the following:

Support Head of ASIA Finance on managing financial performance of the business across the region, highlight areas of opportunity and provide an early warning of any challenges ahead.

Coordinate monthly, quarterly and yearly financial performance reporting of the business segment and markets covering entire P&L, Balance sheet and return metrics.

Coordinate monthly Flash/ early view and outlook with country finance/ business teams. Undertake value added analysis and specific product/ segment deep-dives to help in strategic and tactical business decisioning.

Provide support for business/ financial modelling across key strategic projects.

Track key lead indicators with the help of various internal analytics/MI teams and appraise management at periodic intervals.

Support ASIA management team on execution/ tracking of strategic projects across the region Co-ordinate five-year strategic plan which is used by the Board to determine financial targets and investment areas, particularly focussed on financial returns.

Support ad-hoc business and geographic financial performance queries and deep-dives. Review and enhance financial controls to minimise finance operational risk. Identify and implement process improvements

Requirements

Qualified Accountant i.e. CPA, CMA, ACCA or equivalent. MBA (Finance) holder with several years practical experience in management reporting for banks

Prior experience in a Retail, Wealth management or Private banking Finance role is preferred Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office tools eg Excel and Power point skills

Working experience in SAP, People soft, Hyperion and other management reporting / analytics tools such as Tableau is preferred
