Global Asset Management, the investment management business of the HSBC Group, serves HSBC's worldwide customer base of retail and private clients, intermediaries, corporates and institutions invested in both segregated accounts and pooled funds. Global Asset Management fulfills its purpose of connecting HSBC's clients with investment opportunities around the world through an international network of offices in approximately 30 countries, delivering global capabilities with local market insight.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Manager, Client Services.

Principal responsibilities

  • ​ Provide support to new business opportunities to bring about new sales in our investment products that lead to profitable Asset Under Management growth
  • Involve in any product development discussions with regards to client requirements for mandates
  • Provide guidance to Client Service Managers to handle client's non sales related queries
  • Support Client Service Manager to deliver effective client servicing and demonstrable control over the client relationship
  • Work closely with stakeholders and other offices to deliver sales initiatives, explore process efficiency and client solutions.
  • Provide assistance and support into developing the sales and client strategy.
  • Maintain good working relationship with Wholesale Business, Institutional Business and Private Bank
  • Explore process efficiency and better client solutions if there is way for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with all laws, rules, regulations and procedures, in accordance with best market practice

Requirements
  • Solid analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong communications and negotiation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues from diverse background and of varying seniority
  • Experience in asset management industry
  • Be independent and resourceful in other words, a self starter
